We use available Health profile information without inventing a more precise answer than the source supplies. If a birth date is incomplete, Foleil does not turn an age or a year into a made-up day. You can review a supported suggestion or enter the relevant profile detail yourself.
Our advantage is a usable route through incomplete information. Health connections can help with setup, but they are not the only way to keep a profile. A suggested value remains something to review, and missing information remains missing until there is a legitimate answer.
How it works
Where a current connected source supplies a supported profile detail, Foleil can offer it for review. A birth date is offered only at its actual whole-date precision, and using it requires your choice and save. If the information is unavailable, incomplete or stale, the suggestion does not manufacture a replacement; the ordinary manual profile controls remain available.
Why it matters
Apple's Health data management guide, published 14 September 2026 and accessed 19 October 2026, explains that Health receives records from multiple sources and supports manual entry. This reinforces the need to distinguish a source value from a complete account of a person.
For profile suggestions, precision matters. Knowing an age does not identify a birthday. Silently filling the gap can create a false-looking fact that is hard to notice later. Foleil's review step preserves the distinction while keeping the person able to supply a correct answer through the normal profile workflow.
Compared with other health and fitness tools
YAZIO documents an Apple Health connection for body values and activity in its official integration guide, accessed 19 October 2026. Foleil does not claim that reading profile-related Health information is unique. Our reason to choose this workflow is the explicit distinction between a reviewable current suggestion, incomplete information and a manual answer. We do not infer that YAZIO invents missing dates or lacks manual input; the cited integration page does not support either allegation.
The evidence and a practical example
Suppose a source provides only an age. Foleil can preserve that as the kind of information it is, but it cannot safely derive an exact birthday from it. If a full date becomes available, you can inspect the suggestion before accepting it. An answer entered manually is still your explicit profile choice.
The evidence is the visible offered value, the date precision it actually has and the save that accepts it. A profile changed elsewhere can make an earlier suggestion stale, so it should be reviewed against the current profile. This is a data-handling advantage rather than a claim that a connected source is always correct. When your own records differ, review the source rather than assuming the imported value automatically wins.
Frequently asked questions
Does Foleil invent a birthday from my age?
No. A whole birth date is needed for a birth-date suggestion. A year, month or age alone is not silently expanded into a complete date.
Can Health overwrite the profile without my choice?
The profile suggestion described here is reviewable and requires Use and save. It does not itself silently replace your answer.
Can I enter details myself?
Yes. The ordinary profile controls provide a manual route when a supported Health suggestion is unavailable or not the answer you want to use.
