Foleil lets you return to a recorded Apple Health workout as a saved analysis, with relevant figures and a route into Ask Sprout. The advantage is continuity after the activity: the recorded session becomes something you can inspect and ask about within the same app as your next training choices, meals and recovery notes.

How it works

Open an available imported workout to view its saved report. Foleil builds the report from supported workout figures and eligible heart-rate evidence, showing the coverage available for that session. A follow-up opens a question for Ask Sprout, which you review and send through the normal question flow. Choosing a suggestion does not itself send a new question.

Why it matters

A workout summary is most useful when its figures retain their meaning. Duration, distance, energy and heart-rate observations describe different aspects of a session, and their availability varies by source. Apple's Health guide, reviewed 19 October 2026, explains the role of health and fitness records. Foleil adds a practical review and question workflow around available records, without claiming that a saved interpretation independently validates the measurements.

Compared with other approaches

Strava's Training Log, reviewed 19 October 2026, documents a visual activity history with sport and performance filters. Its Athlete Intelligence guide documents activity analysis too. Foleil's reason to choose it here is the link from a saved report to a reviewed question and the surrounding daily plan. No claim is made that Strava lacks AI, or that the same proprietary metrics transfer through Apple Health.

The evidence

The report only contains supported figures that are actually available and admitted for the workout. Heart-rate zones, recovery observations or moving time require the relevant underlying evidence; missing figures are not reconstructed from a persuasive paragraph. Saved measurement coverage and AI wording are distinct. That helps you ask a better follow-up: you can see what the session contains before inviting an interpretation of it.

Put it into your day

After a run, open its report and check the date and available measurements. Look at coverage before comparing it with another session, especially if you changed recording devices or did not wear a sensor throughout. Choose a suggested question if it expresses what you want to ask, then edit it as needed before Send. You might focus on organising the next session around the week rather than asking a number to explain every aspect of the run. Keep subjective notes about the experience alongside the report. This preserves a useful distinction between what the device recorded, what you felt and what an assistant suggests.

Frequently asked questions

Does every workout have heart-rate analysis?

No. Heart-rate features depend on eligible evidence for that workout. Available figures and coverage vary.

Does tapping a follow-up send it?

No. A follow-up opens a question for review and the normal Send action.

Does Apple Health import proprietary scores from every app?

No. Foleil uses supported records actually present and permitted in Apple Health, not every source app’s proprietary score.

What should I check before comparing reports?

Inspect the workout date, measurement coverage and recording source. Two reports can contain different evidence even when the activity names are the same.
